Maria Graham, SHRM-SCP, serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Memphis Health Center, bringing more than 25 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience. Throughout her career, she has led transformational HR initiatives, strengthened organizational culture, and partnered with executive leadership to align people strategies with organizational goals.

Maria’s expertise spans all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, performance management, succession planning, compliance, HR technology, and employee engagement. Her leadership experience includes healthcare, education, hospitality, logistics, and corporate environments, where she has supported workforces ranging from several hundred to more than 1,000 employees.

Prior to becoming Chief Human Resources Officer, Maria served as Memphis Health Center’s Director of Human Resources. In that role, she strengthened HR operations, supported employee development, and collaborated with organizational leaders to advance strategic initiatives and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Maria serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and provides strategic leadership for all aspects of Human Resources. She leads efforts to attract, develop, engage, and retain exceptional talent while cultivating a strong, inclusive, and high-performing workforce that supports Memphis Health Center’s mission and vision.

Maria earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources and holds the Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential. Her passion for developing people and strengthening organizations continues to guide her leadership and commitment to creating a workplace where employees can thrive.
