
Barbara K. Williams, a seasoned healthcare leader, brings over 20 years of professional experience to her role. Dr. Williams is the driving force behind a wide range of clinical and operational performance initiatives related to regulatory compliance, ensuring the organization consistently operates within the parameters of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Program requirements and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Before her current role, Dr. Williams held several leadership positions, including Ambulatory Services and Physicians Relations Director at Nashville General Hospital and the Resource Development/External Affairs Director at the University of Chicago–affiliated clinics, where she was instrumental in devising strategies to diversify the revenue mix, thereby supporting the organization’s growth and financial stability. She also served as the Executive Director of East Arkansas Family Health Center, Inc., Business Development Director, Corporate Compliance Officer, and Managed Care/Quality Improvement Manager during different stints at Memphis Health Center.
Dr. Williams earned a Doctor of Psychology in Healthcare Administration from Capella University, a Master of Science in Operations Management with a Certificate in Business Management from the University of Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Southern Illinois University. She is also certified by the American Board of Managed Care Nursing as a Managed Care Nurse.
