Memphis Health Center, Inc. (MHC) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the solicitation of the services described herein.

The contract will be awarded to the respondent who, based upon evaluation, is determined to be the most qualified to perform the duties for this project.
INTRODUCTION
MHC seeks a vendor to plan and execute its 50th Anniversary celebration (3 to 5 days). The vendor interested in submitting a proposal must be experienced in corporate event planning. The vendor will act as an independent contractor and will be expected to provide:
Production of a commemorative publication
Event theme
Prospective event venues and guest speakers
Ceremonial event program
Photography
Entertainment
Various levels of activities for board, staff, & patients
BACKGROUND
Next year, MHC will celebrate 50th years of providing quality and affordable health care services in medically underserved communities. MHC is the oldest federally qualified health center in the Greater Memphis and Fayette County Areas. The Center was founded in 1970 with the mission of providing health care services for individuals and families regardless of their ability to pay. As a community mainstay, MHC operates four primary care service delivery sites and two homeless centers. MHC provides a comprehensive array of health care services, including family medicine, behavioral health, women’s health, dental, ophthalmology, podiatry, and enabling services that are an important safety net for area residents. Through its systems of patient-centered and integrated care, MHC was able to respond to the unique needs of 19,616 diverse medically underserved patients in 2018, generating over 68,000 visits. MHC presence throughout the years symbolizes its admirable commitment to expand its reach and meet the growing demand for health care services in areas of greatest needs while alleviating healthcare disparities.
BUDGET
The estimated budget for the 50th Anniversary celebration is $75,000 – $100,000 depending on donors and sponsors.
